How it works

Your stop’s departures in three steps.

Step 1

Find your stop

Choose a region and town, then search by stop name or road, or use Near me.

Step 2

See the board

Every bus due in the next two hours, as an LED, e-paper or full-colour display would show it.

Step 3

Scheduled and expected

Live buses show when they’re really expected, with how late or early they’re running.

At the stop

Put this board where passengers wait.

We supply, install and maintain real-time displays for bus stops, shelters and interchanges, from low-power e-paper to full-colour screens.

FAQ

Bus stop display questions

What’s the difference between scheduled and expected?

Scheduled is the time in the published timetable. Expected is our estimate of when the bus will actually arrive, based on where it is now and how far behind or ahead of the timetable it’s running.

How do I know which buses are tracked live?

Every bus due within the hour counts down in minutes, and buses further away show a clock time. A green dot next to the time means we can see that bus live; without it, the time comes from the timetable, often because the bus hasn’t started its journey yet.

What happens when a bus is running late?

It stays on the board past its scheduled time, with its expected time and how many minutes late it is, until it reaches the stop.

Which stops are covered?

Every bus stop in England with a timetabled service, over 250,000 of them, listed by region and town. Times come from the Department for Transport’s Bus Open Data Service.

Can we put a display like this at our stops?

Yes. We supply, install and maintain real-time displays, including low-power e-paper screens that run on solar or battery power where there’s no mains supply.
