About this product

Mo Cigarette Bin

The MO Cigarette Bin is a robust, architecturally refined outdoor ashtray designed to manage cigarette waste efficiently in public spaces. Constructed from a 120 × 120 mm steel section standing 1000 mm high, it features stainless‑steel shaped plates that allow users to extinguish and deposit cigarettes cleanly. Inside, a removable container is accessed via a secure triangular‑key front panel for easy servicing. Available in powder‑coated steel, hot‑dip galvanised steel, or Corten, MO combines durability, safety and elegant simplicity.

The MO Cigarette Bin is a purpose‑designed outdoor ashtray created by Federico Bonan and included within family of cigarette‑disposal furniture. The central body is enclosed by two 2 mm thick stainless-steel shaped plates, whose sloped edges allow users to safely extinguish and deposit cigarettes into the lower section while preventing misuse. A key operational feature is the removable circular internal container, accessed through a front panel fitted with a triangular key lock. This secure yet simple mechanism supports fast emptying and reduces contact with cigarette debris. The unit is installed using steel wall plugs (not included) and comes pre‑drilled for anchoring, making it suitable for pavements, plazas, transport hubs, leisure complexes and building entrances. The MO ashtray is available in hot‑galvanised steel, polyester powder‑coated steel, or weathering (Corten) steel, finished with a sandblasting and oxidation cycle. All fixings are stainless steel, ensuring exceptional resistance to corrosion—especially valuable in coastal, heavily used or urban environments. As part of Cigarette Bins collection — alongside Sand, Cica, Fu, Fuma and Scrambler — MO offers a coordinated design solution for 3iS Transport projects requiring a durable, discreet and aesthetically aligned cigarette‑waste element.
