KS1 Infant Goal Recess 237

Providing a safe and durable solution for team games, it supports active play, coordination and social development in school and community environments.

The KS1 Infant Goal Recess 237 is a purpose‑designed playground sports unit developed to encourage active play and early team participation within Key Stage 1 environments. Designed in the style of a traditional goal, the recessed format offers a compact and controlled play space, making it suitable for locations where a full multi‑sport unit is not required. Constructed from mild steel with a polyester powder‑coated finish, the goal provides a durable and long‑lasting solution for outdoor use. The unit is designed with child safety in mind, incorporating features that reduce the risk of injury, including a layout that minimises potential finger traps. Its recessed design also helps to contain ball movement, supporting safer and more controlled play for younger users. The KS1 Infant Goal Recess 237 can be installed as a standalone unit or paired configuration, allowing flexibility in layout and enabling both informal play and structured team games. Optional additions such as cricket wickets or target panels can also be incorporated to expand play opportunities and support skill development. Designed for children typically under the age of seven, the goal supports a wide range of play and development outcomes, including hand‑eye coordination, gross motor skills, communication and cooperative play. It provides a simple yet effective way to introduce ball sports and encourage physical activity from an early age.
