The KS3 Goal Recess 229 is a senior‑level recessed steel goal designed for football and hockey in secondary school and community sports environments. With a 2100mm overall height, 3850mm width, 2000mm goal height and 750mm recess depth, it provides a spacious and controlled scoring area suitable for ages 11 and above. Ideal for sites needing a robust, low‑maintenance recessed goal without requiring a full multi‑sport unit.

The KS3 Goal Recess 229 is a premium recessed goal solution engineered for secondary schools, sports courts and public play areas that need a durable, space‑efficient alternative to a full multi‑sport unit. Its generous 2100mm overall height and 3850mm width make it well suited to the physical abilities of KS3/KS4 pupils and adult users, supporting structured football and hockey activities in environments where safe, organised play is essential. The deep 750mm recess enhances ball control and reduces stray ball incidents, making gameplay more predictable and improving safety in busy recreational settings. Constructed from mild steel to BS EN 10210 standards and finished with a galvanised and polyester powder‑coated surface to BS 6497, the goal offers long‑term corrosion resistance, structural integrity and resilience against vandalism and heavy play. The child‑safe design reduces finger‑trap risks, ensuring suitability for unsupervised free‑access use. This unit supports upper‑body development, gross motor coordination, communication skills and healthy competitive play, aligning with KS3/KS4 PE requirements. Optional additions such as cricket wickets and target panels can be incorporated to expand the range of training activities. Fully compliant with BS EN 15312 and EN 1270, the KS3 Goal Recess 229 meets recognised standards for free‑access multi‑sports installations. Available in a wide selection of RAL colours, it can be customised to complement existing playground layouts or broader site design schemes.
